BASIC SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS

Listed below, you will find different services and functions (aka “items”) you can have on your web site for a nominal fee of $2.99 per item. The total of the fees you incur will be added to your initial set up fee.  You are welcome to add different items during the course of your contract with Maverick Web Design and those fees will be added to the next month’s bill.  You may also remove items from your site at any time at no extra charge. If you do not see a function listed here and you would like to have it on your site, please e-mail or call and let us know and we’ll do our best to serve you.
 

1. Photo Gallery/Slideshow:  The Photo Gallery allows you to share images with the world in an easy to navigate way.

2. Ad Banner: The Ad Banner tool displays a series of images within a banner.

3. Rotating Picture:  The Rotating Picture tool displays different pictures in succession in the same place on the page.  Specify the image to display and the number of seconds to pause before displaying the next picture in the sequence. You can also assign a link to each picture.

4. Site Mapper: The Site Mapper tool creates an interactive map of a site.

5. Ticker Tape: The Ticker Tape tool announces special promotions or events with a scrolling message. Various fonts, colors and styles are available.

6. Time Based Picture:  The Time Based Picture tool displays different pictures at the same location on your page at the time you specify. For example, if you wanted to have pictures of your building, one taken in daytime and one taken at night, you could have the pictures switch at specific hours of the day.

ADVANCED SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS

Listed below are the advanced services and functions we can offer you for an additional fee that is listed with each item.  These fees apply to the initial set up as well as when there is a change to that item. You are not automatically charged each month just to have the item, you are only charged if you request a change to be made.  Taking an item off of your site is free of charge. 

1. Shockwave: The Shockwave tool inserts Shockwave files.  Create multimedia, graphics and audio that download quickly. $5.95

2. Windows Media Player:  The Windows Media Player lets you add video, such as an animation or a movie, to your site.  $5.95

3. Real Player: The Real Player tool lets you play streaming audio or video on all systems with RealAudio Web server-resident software.  $5.95

4. Sound Tool:  Inserts a digital or synthesized audio file that a browser with a built-in player or helper application can play. $5.95

5. Quicktime:  The Quicktime tool inserts a Quick Time movie.  Create and deliver graphics, sound, video, text, music and 3D media.  $7.95

6. Flash Player: A Flash Player is a very easy way to show video clips on your web site with Flash (.swf) and Splash (.spl) files.  $12.95

Please note that options that include audio and/or video can greatly reduce the speed at which your site will load, depending on the Internet connection speed of the person visiting your site.

SPECIALTY SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS

We can also offer you specialty services and functions such as Guest Books, Online Surveys, Fully Interactive Forms and much more.  Fees and functionality of these types of items will be determined upon request, depending on the needs of your site.
